OK, tonight is the Caley Sample Rooms, cos that's where we told people who came to the tryout morning we were going. This does NOT necessarily mean that the Caley is going to be this term's pub, it's just where we (Sarah and I) thought of on the spur of the moment whilst belaying.

Any decent suggestions for a term time pub are welcome. Requirements are: near to 25 or 34 bus routes, fairly big, good beer, cheap. That's probably in descending order of importance too.

EITHER the Caley Sample Room in Dalry, or the Beehive in the Grassmarket.

We're meeting up tonght to finalise everything for tomorrows signup, so you'll find out for sure when you come and sign up in Sh1! 1pm-4pm this year, setup from 12:30, and help from any previous members will be well appreciated!

I can't make it to the sports hall. Any chance to signup in the pub?

I should be around to help set-up and can probably spare about an hour at some other point whenever needed. Also when will the pub be from? - I might be going straight from uni if early and could meet campus based people at HW bus stop like last year if so.

There'll be no problem signing up at the pub Loic. You'll have to join the sports union as well (£15) but I've got a supply of membership forms for that.

Apparently there's a decent meteor shower (Orionids) coming through tonight/tomorrow night. It's expected to have a decent rate of meteors, with many leaving good lasting trails behind them. Jack and I got a decent view of a shower over the summer just by going up Arthur's Seat with a groundsheet to sit/lie on. Anyone want to do something similar tomorrow night after the pub? Bringing something to eat or drink while up there is optional.
