Dumbarton rock - tomorrow

Postby Jargon on Fri Oct 16, 2009 3:38 pm

A few of us will be going by train to Dumbarton rock to climb on Saturday this will be organised entirely by those going i.e you will need to make sure you have equipment you need in advance as well as people to climb with. There is a lot of good bouldering there as well as single pitch trad climbing and hard sport routes. We will be getting the train to Dumbarton East via Glasgow Queen St. this leaves Waverley at 09:25 and haymarket at 09:28. An open return costs £16.60 (£10.95 with a rail card) and the journey is a couple of hours - there are regular trains back to Edinburgh so people can leave when they wish. The weather is currently looking great just like todays weather! :D

The two club bouldering mats will be going so there will be lots to do even if you can't lead stuff yourself. People I know are going so far are:
Me
Maria
Jev
Ross
Kyle (???)

would be good to know who was wanting to come so post below. if needed my numbber is
oh 774 zero six5 14seven5

I'll have to bail out of this one.
All those previous trip put me a bit behind work and I need to fix my bike up aswell.

Have fun tomorrow!!
