Did you get out last weekend? I was planning on doing something local but got rained off. What have you got your eye on at Ratho Alejandro? I've got a couple of E1 and E2's there that I'm waiting for some good weather to try if you're interested in getting down there?

That's my plan precisely. Hopefully it will dry up for next week so we can give it a go.

Right folks,

I'm free to climb again as of Thursday 13th Aug so if there's anyone wanting to climb give me a shout. I'd like to get up to the Cairngorms for a couple of days the following mid-week if anyone with a car is free.

Otherwise a mate and I are planning on having some fun in Northumberland on the weekend of 15/16th (weather permitting) to see how many routes we can climb in a day - the goal is 100! (On that note can I get hold of a gear shed key from someone to borrow the club boulder mats for that weekend please?)
A general invite for a couple of days climbing in 'the County' is open for all to join us :D

Does anyone have the newer version of the Northumberland climbing guide that I'd be able to take a look at please?

Just so you know, the 16th is the date of the Water of Leith pub crawl. Otherwise I'd definitely be up for watching you guys haring up and down as many routes as possible on some of my favourite crags!

Stephen, I am for climbing but can't scape on weekdays. I have some pending busyness in the Cairngorms since one week a go the rain kicked me out just when we were all geared up.
I have the gear shed keys and unfortunately spend most of my time at the university, so just give me a shout before you want to pick up the stuff.

Spaces in a big car for anyone wanting to come along to Traprain Law tomorrow (Sat).

We'll be leaving Edinburgh about 10:30/11 ish. Anyone wanting a lift give me a call.
