Is anyone up for climbing sometime the next days? Maybe outdoor around Edinburgh?

Any news on Florian?

Has he broken anything or is he just bruised?

Hey guys,
I am just very bruised, fortunately no serious injuries :)
My back still hurts quite a bit, so I think I have to refrain from sports for a while...
They kept me for a while because they were concerned I damaged my kidneys and another night because there was no doctor available to check it.
I am back in my flat on natural painkillers ;)
See you all soon,
Flo

Hmmm... In my experience the unnatural opiate-based ones are good (ie. Morphine, etc) :-)

Just take your time and rest up - there's no point rushing back in my experience - your physical injuries will outwardly heal sooner than your mental ones - but time sorts both. :-)

Hey guys,
thanks for your concerns, here is a short summary of what happened (Don't try this at home!)

I started climbing Heathy on two half ropes and realized it is too hard for me (or I was too scared). So I decided to traverse left on to Greenville which is slightly easier. At this point I was only climbing on one rope as the oter one was attached on Heathy. The last move I did was a slightly dynamic one, so when I realized I can't make it I clouldn't just step back. When I fell the first nut came out (don't know about the second - Andy??) so I ended up hitting the ground, although the rope already took quite a bit of the fall.
The rest was calling an ambulance which came quickly including dozens of other people (police, firemen...). They brought me to hospital, reqalized nothing is broken but wanted to keep me for a night to be able to to some scans. I had to spend another night because no bloody doctor was looking at the x ray and ultra sound pictures, so I was dismissed on Wednesday.
Still having a sore back but other than that I am feeling alright.
Thanks Andy for the rescue!!

The top 2 out of the 3 bits of gear placed on greenville ripped, with the one remainder at about half height.

By any chance are the bruises mostly harness shaped?
