Snowdon Hostel?

I was after some info for a friend.

Does anyone know if there's a good hostel/bunkhouse near to Snowdon (ideally withing walking distance for the tourist path(/pyg track(?sp)). The only time I've been I camped down the road and drove up so I'm not too sure what there is.

don't know of any hostels personally. huts can be found here- http://www.thebmc.co.uk/Download.aspx?id=12 if thet're a member of the bmc or an affliate

there's a YHA hostel at the foot of the Snowdon Ranger path
