FOR SALE: NUTS 1-10

Postby Madfrog on Sun Sep 28, 2008 9:09 pm

I bought them 4-5 years ago for £65 -ish. Can't remember exactly, didn't keep the receipt.
They have been used only once! Nothing wrong with them, I can bring them down to the pub for closer inspection.

I'll happily sell them for £45. The condition they're in is absolutely brilliant of course.

Contact me via email (loic at threewheeler dot me dot uk) or via PM.

Before this was edited twice this bit originally said something along the lines of; I remember climbing with Loic on apparently the one occasion he used his set of nuts and that they didn't take any falls.

I think its probably not a good idea to use accidents to place when something happened, it could very well give off the wrong impression about the club! (and for that matter members too, if they were to have 2 incidents it could get quite complicatex...)

Also I hit 'edit' instead of 'quote' first time round, and didn't notice  many apologies for any vital info lost!

Sorry Andy, I probably shouldn't have brought that up.
Although I don't think the fact that someone fell off a climb says bad things about the club, climbers just do that sometimes!

no it wasnt a bad thing, i just thought if you had a look into a club, and they remebered things by 'before X's fall, but after Y crushed his face with a melon', it might put it in a bad light.

No worries though, its nice to be memorable :D

You can never have enough nuts in my experience ........ some of them turn out to be priceless!

22 Oct is the big day (another set of x-rays 3 months after the Op.)
Hopefully my heel will have healed by then, and I will be allowed to cast aside one crutch at least.
A visit to Alien/Ratho to follow soon afterwards.
Fingers crossed (feeling better by the day anyway)
