Well yes, but what's that phrase? Discretion being the better part of Valour? I know what I did wrong, but for the time being, I'll stick to what I know and like.

Making the DVDs was an exercise in finding out how to use various pieces of software, not just an exercise in geek-ness!

Good News - the Physio says there is no reason for me not to try climbing now, just don't go bouldering. Yippeeee!!!

A couple of problems remain though: I can't get my climbing shoe on my left foot, and Gwen will be incapacitated for a while from next week.

Anyway, some progress at least!

I have had a 1/2 inch campus rung, as recommended by Mr. D MacLeod, in my loft hatch for some time now!

But it is very easy to injure yourself on fingerboards - so take it easy.

Bit of a setback today: I'm back in Hospital tomorrow having a screw removed from my foot.

I had quite a tough week, cycling to work 3 times, climbed at Auchinstarry, and did a fair bit of DIY around the house, so wasn't really surprised my foot felt sore last night - anyway, decided to go to A&E @ ERI this morning, when I got up and couldn't walk on it at all! X-rays confirmed a piece of screw making a bid for freedom!

Ouch, indeed!

it was a 1 inch pin in the end that came out - I have it in a sample jar, if you're interested?!??!

Hey, I haven't posted much on here recently - I'll do something about that now I guess

Well, just now, I'm recovering from another operation on my foot - I've had 3 toes on my bad foot straightened: 2 of them had tendons severed and then pinned, the other I've had a joint fused and pinned.
Anyway, I'm off work until 5th October - again, visits from anybody who knows me would be most welcome!
I get my pins removed on 28th Sept (I will try and keep them for posterity, of course!) - I should get back up to speed during October then.

Hope to see you all again soon - I'll try and come along to a meet sometime (Mercedes transportation will be provided ) - provided Stuart reminds me at some point?
