Calling all photographers! (or happy snappers)

Postby Andy on Fri Sep 05, 2008 10:36 pm

Next week is the sports fair, and dare I say it, the start of term!

Each year at the fair we usually have a slideshow running of pics of the club in action over the past year or so. If you have any photos at all (its for me to decide if they're rubbish, not you!) then please send them in. Who knows, you might even get a free chocolate hobnob for your troubles.

Attach and email to the club email (mountaineering@hw.ac.uk) and look for them in the sports hall 1pm - 4pm on Wednesday 17th September!

And now for something slightly different

Regarding the start of term, do you ever find it difficult to keep up with all those dates given out by the club?? If you do then this is for you!

If the feeling takes me, I'm going to steal the best 12 or so pics from the haul mentioned above and see what I can do about getting them onto a calendar (woo!), and if I'm feeling really energetic, it will have the dates of all the important HWUMC events throughout the year on it, as well as bank holidays, phases of the moon, and committee member birthdays (but not ages!)

Now isn't that something to get excited about

Got a whole memory stick full of them - have you got any mountain music to go with them?

I'd like a calendar, if you're gonna do one! I floated the idea last year though and there wasn't much enthusiasm, so good luck!

I'll take one as well. I've got a few photos, but most of them involve a lot of mist and some small people away in the downhill distance. I'll have a look, see if any look usable.
